Honourable Ogbeide Ifaluyi-isibor was born at the ABU teaching hospital Zaria, Kaduna state. He had his primary Education at the Nigerian Airforce Primary School Benin City and Secondary Education at the Boys Model Secondary School Evboneka Edo State. He thereafter obtained a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering from the prestigious University of Benin where he majored in Production Engineering.
Ogbeide Ifaluyi-isibor worked in the Federal public service for almost a decade. First as a Standards Engineer at the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) Abuja where he was unit Head of Mechanical Engineering and also lead the enforcement team for 2 years to ensure that sub standard goods were purged out from the Nigerian market.
2013
In 2013 while working with SON, Ogbeide was selected to lead a team of 10 Nigerian Engineers to the International Recycling Education Center, Kanazawa Japan to understudy the Automobile recycling and dismantling model adopted by the Japanese with the view of replicating same in Nigeria.
2015
He then joined the Nigerian Export Processing zones Authority Abuja as a Senior Engineer in 2015 where he participated actively in the promotion of Free trade zones across the country and the establishment of new Special Economic Zones.
Ogbeide Ifaluyi-isibor contributed in no small means at the Boston Scientific Corporation USA, a fortune 500 company where he worked as a Production trainer and worked along side a team in re-designing and packaging medical devices used in many hospitals across the US during endoscopy procedures. Until this appointment as Honorable Commissioner for Digital Economy, Science and Technology in August 2023 by Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Ogbeide was Assistant Vice President at Omicof Corporation, Atlanta, USA, a multi million dollar company with key interests in Real Estate, Healthcare and Entertainment.
Ogbeide is a Pan Africanist, a lover and promoter of the Benin culture, a renowned writer with several of his works bothering on African and Nigerian politics published in many journals. As a public speaker, he is very well sought after by Youth Organizations across Nigeria. Ogbeide Ifaluyi-isibor has an Executive MBA from the Metropolitan school of business and Management United Kingdom, He has completed several courses on Technology law from the Law Society of Ireland, He is a fellow of the Hallmark institute of Management and innovation studies and belongs to several other professional and social organizations.
Ogbeide Ifaluyi-isibor is a founding supporter of the People’s Democratic Party and has served in several committees and engaged in numerous assignments on behalf of the PDP since 2012 till date. He is married to 1 wife and has 2 lovely sons.
