Research on the Use of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) Maggot as an Alternative Source of Protein in Animal Feed Formulation

The Edo State Ministry of Digital Economy, Science and Technology (MDEST) is conducting research on the use of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot as an alternative source of protein in animal feed formulation. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and the Nigeria Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR).

Development of Edo State Policy on Science, Technology, and Innovation

The Edo State Ministry of Digital Economy, Science, and Technology (MDEST) is undertaking a key project to develop the Edo State Policy on Science, Technology, and Innovation. This policy aims to provide a strategic framework for harnessing the benefits of science, technology, and innovation to drive socioeconomic development in the state.

The Edo State Ministry of Digital Economy, Science and Technology (MDEST) is working on a key project to domesticate the adaptation of the National Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Roadmap 2030. This initiative, led by the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (FMSTI), aims to align the state’s STI priorities with the national roadmap for enhanced development.
